There is virtually little to no risk with this procedure since we are using your body’s own cells and then placing it back in your body.
What happens during the Shockwave procedure? Is there any risks?
During the shockwave procedure, we will use a small wand-like device to deliver shockwaves to the shaft and surrounding areas. This can shake off plaque and promotes healing by stimulating the growth of new blood vessels and tissue.
The side effects for this procedure is rare and generally mild, usually pain and bruising at the specific area.
What happens during the HRT procedure?
During the consultation, Dr. Kim will note your symptoms and (if needed) order a blood test to check your hormone markers. Generally, we are looking at the levels of testosterone, estrogen, and thyroid to determine healthy function.
We offer multiple methods of hormone replacement therapy that offer the patient the convenience of choice. Injections offer precision, oral medication and gels offer painless application, and pellets offer convenience with a one-time application that lasts three months.

Will I feel pain during these procedures?
Virtually all of our patients have reported very little pain during the procedure itself - we use multiple forms of local anesthesia effectively to make sure the nerve endings are blocked.
We do not do general anesthesia - we can offer a sedative for those feeling anxious prior to the procedure.
Is there an age limit?
Yes - for these treatments, our policy is that we do not accept anyone under 18 years of age.
How much does it cost?
Dr. Kim will discuss during the consultation the treatment plan he has found for his patients that have led to dramatic reversals in E.D. symptoms. Based on this discussion, we will customize a treatment plan that fits in better with your needs.
Hormone therapy varies based on the the route of administration and the dosage, and can often be covered with insurance.
How long does the procedure take?
Based on the type of procedure, Dr. Kim takes around 30-60 mins per procedure.
PRP patients should expect to spend around 90 minutes in the clinic for the blood draw and centrifuge.
Will it affect the size of my penis? Will it affect the sensitivity?
No to the first question - these treatments only focus on improving the health and function of the penis by stimulating growth factors.
However, you can expect improved blood flow and erections with increased stamina.
When can I expect results?
It depends on how fast the patient heals, but most patients see a dramatic increase in performance in the initial weeks with the benefits continuing to last for 4-6 months.
